I cant believe its April already. Its been 1 month since I came back from my London-Morocco trip, its seems like it happened years ago!
Just some quick highlights of my trip:
To begin with London was just a short visit to relax, and getting to catch up with a child hood friend, shopping at Harrods, and the Liberty store where I picked up my 2 Alex Monroe pieces which I love to death! Of course visiting the Tower of London, which is now crossed of my Bucket List.
3 days later, and a 5 hour flight to Casablanca, and once again I was in North Africa! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Morocco. I met 5 amazing
travel companions who were heaps of fun. They came from Vancouver, New
York, Australia, New Zealand, and one who lives 20 minutes from me. Firstly, I went with G Adventures, and this is my second trip with these guys, and the tour was fan-tabulous, and the guide; Yacine: so knowledgeable and kind!
I'll keep this post short since I can go on and on.
Casablanca was kinda boring, I hate to say this, the best thing was the Hassan II Mosque, and getting lost in the Quartier Habous to find the well known patisserie: Patisserie Bennis Habous. The highlights of the trip were, the Medina, the rooftop lunch, visiting the tannery- all in Fes, sunset in the Sahara Desert, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis.
The hotel in Ouarzazate was jaw dropping, (apparently Jake Gyllenhaal stayed there when filming Prince of Persia.) We enjoyed private villas. Each! And Massages, and lounging by the pool.
The next question is...where to next?
