I'm booked!
I bought my flight(s) leaving T.O on October 3rd, and returning November 1st. Woohoo! A month away. I cannot wait. And I got a pretty good deal for my flight.
I'll be visiting Ireland; Dublin & Cork, for 3.5 days. Italy for 3 weeks. And Germany, more specifically Munich, for 5 days.
Not that spending 3 weeks in Italy would be a bad thing. But I would like to spend 8 days in a neighboring country. I looked into Tunisia, but the tour had a age range which would be 30 years older than me. So that was a bust. I'm still trying to figure out something, but with 146 days to go, I do have some time to decide.
At the moment, summer school has begun this past Tuesday. Add Italian classes, boot camp (from May - September) & volunteering at the museum..... and I'm exhausted by the end of the week.
Some positives: I booked my second tattoo session for my birthday. I'm trying to figure out placement. All I know is that I want it near my collar bone. Mum will not be pleased, but oh-well! And, yes, its going to be another Tolkien related one.
Plus, I added my first Dean Davidson 'Castle Ring' in lapis to my ring collection, and the Rebecca Minkoff 'Collin' camera bag.
Anddd I'm trying to get my hands on the ever elusive Mansur Gavriel bag(s). Which is sold out everywhere. Apparently, as soon as it hits the shelf, it immediately sells out. There are wait-lists for them that have been going on for months. Right now, it's on my 'wish list' on Net-A-Porter.
I have googled, called, and hunted for this bag. And its not available anywhere in Canada. Even, a friend who works at Holts didn't even recognize the name. (Really?)
The bucket bag is not for me, so If I do spring for one, it would be small tote in black, with flamma. Right now, the retail price has gone up to $650 CAD, and set to go higher every season with the crazy demand they've been having.....rumored, about 25% per season.
The good news.... I just might have been able to get one via a boutique in Montreal, who just started receiving their bags. But I'm not saying anything till its confirmed.
