Its been over a month since I came back, and my trip to Italy was beyond eye-opening.
The G Adventures tour was another great experience, where I met another set of amazing people. The only bad thing was the flight there, and back, which was terrible! moreover there was an emergency on board. ugh. I think I'll skip AirItalia in the future.
We traveled from Rome to Chiusi by train as a group from Termini, unfortunately one of the girls got her wallet stolen the day before her trip, and this was her first trip abroad. Luckily she got a credit card fedex-d to the agri-tursimo 2 days later.
The agri-turismo we stayed at (In Tuscany) for the first week of my trip was a cozy farmhouse with guest rooms attached, called La Pietriccia, where we stayed with a local family who focused on healthy local products, and the "slow cooking" movement.
I can go on about the views, wine tasting and the food, but we were in Tuscany so I'll leave it at that.
It felt much different, and more relaxing then previous trips since we got to come back to the farm every-night which was a nice change instead of unpacking, and repacking my suitcase for a new hotel room. Our base was Chianciano Terme, and from there we went to Florence - crossed the 'Gates of Paradise' off my Bucket List!-, Montalcino, Orvieto, Pienza and Montepulciano.

I adored Rome! I completely fell in love with the city..... I had 8 days to myself, where I spent some time at the Vatican since my lodgings were right outside the Vatican walls.... an amazing score of AirBnB. The highlights were St.Peters Tomb, Borghese Gardens, the Capuchin Crypts, Princess Isabella's Apartment, and just basically walking around. One of the ladies, on my Tuscany tour recommend a Pompeii trip, and so I headed to Pompeii, and Mt. Vesuvius a few days before I left, where I met the nicest Filipino family who were great travel buddies.

Which was the best decision ever!
I knew I was resenting my previous work place, and dreaded going to work for some time. I now decided to head back to school to study history, while working part-time.
Plus I crossed a few things of my Bucket-List. woot!
xoxo,
Savannah
